Solid State Lasers
Solid-state lasers are a type of laser in which the active medium for emission is a solid, such as a crystal or glass doped with ions of different transition metals.
These lasers produce coherent light by exciting atoms or ions in the solid medium to higher energy levels and releasing this energy as stimulated emission.
