Open Path – Active Remote Sensing | Airyx

Open path instruments create a light path of up to several kilometers length to measure atmospheric trace gases like (no2, so2, o3, hcho, hono, h2o, bro, io) with high precision and time resolution. Typical applications are monitoring of emissions from traffic (e.g., at ship routes or motorways) or from industrial facilities, as well as scientific applications concerning atmospheric chemistry and/or ground-level validation of satellite remote sensing.

Description

Features & Benefits:

Active remote sensing of atmospheric gases.
Simultaneous detection of multiple species, e.g., no2, so2, o3, hcho, hono, h2o, bro, io.
Low maintenance.
Automatic telescope alignment, no calibration required, optimized for operational applications.
Monitoring on kilometer scale.
Measurement paths from 100 to 3000 meter provide high representativeness at minimal influence from point sources.
High precision.
Sub ppb range sensitivty, time resolution of seconds.
