Description

Features and Benefits:

Compact and robust design.
User-friendly interface.
Flexible sample handling.
Best in class sensitivity.
Safe operation.
Affordable.
Laser:
785 nm diode-pumped solid-state laser with adjustable power (7 mW to 450 mW) and controllable via LabSpec 6 software. Filtered and focused onto the sample, backscattered Raman signal is collected and filtered.

Spectrograph:
Fixed spectrograph with a 685 gr/mm holographic grating for superior stray light rejection. Dispersion of 10.3 nm/mm, providing a resolution of 8 cm⁻¹ at 914 nm. Detector captures the Raman signal.

Sample Compartment:
Optimally positions the sample for coupling to the spectrograph and detector. Uses a lens to focus the excitation laser to the sample. Accommodates various optional accessories.

Detector:
Multichannel CCD detector cooled to -50°C, records a full spectrum of the Raman signal. Back-illuminated near-IR optimized Syncerity CCD provides 3300 cm⁻¹ of total spectral coverage. Wavelength dependencies corrected through LabSpec 6 software.

External Probes:
Supports external probes for remote sample measurements. LASER OUT port connects to an external probe via FC/PC terminated fiber. Returning signal connected to SIGNAL IN port, passing through an internal fiber to the fixed spectrograph and CCD detector. Safety features include an external interlock, key switch, and safety shutter.

Software:

LabSpec 6 Spectroscopy Software:
Dedicated Raman spectroscopy package, LabSpec 6, used across HORIBA Jobin Yvon systems. Now available for MacroRAM, offering advanced capabilities beyond basic spectroscopy software for powerful and precise analysis.
