ECHO DRI Series respirometer for biological stability of waste

ECHO DRI Series measures oxygen to determine the dynamic respiration index and microorganism activity in degradable organic matter.

Description

Samples are analysed in hermetically sealed adiabatic vessels under continuous airflow. Each vessel includes a temperature sensor, while the system monitors flow, pressure and humidity. Automatic condensate removal and the included air source simplify biological-stability testing.

Key benefits

  • 1/3/6/12 channels
  • 2, 10, 20 or 30 L adiabatic vessels
  • Temperature sensor in every vessel
  • Automatic condensate removal
  • Remote-control software and Excel export

Applications

  • UNI 11184 biological stability by DRI
  • EN 15590 current aerobic microbial-activity rate
  • Solid recovered fuels and organic waste
  • Treatment plants and waste-characterization laboratories

Frequently asked questions

What does DRI measure?

DRI reflects the current rate of aerobic microbial activity and supports biological-stability assessment.

Are the vessels adiabatic?

Yes. The configuration establishes controlled conditions in sealed adiabatic vessels.

Is the compressor included?

Yes. The manufacturer lists the air source as part of the system.
